Nine Kinds of Naughty by Jeanette Grey: The name says it all, Nine Kinds of Naughty by Jeanette Grey is sinfully satisfying and is everything I want in a romance.

Lexie is a powerhouse in a heels. She’s always in charge and doesn’t like to give up the reins. She’s always at work or working and has something to prove. When her brother sends her to Spain to handle a takeover, she uses this has the opportunity to show him she can do her job and do it well. Only it’s not just her going to Spain, her assistant Dane, will be accompanying her. They are both attracted to each other but have never done anything about it. He’s always been respectful about their boundaries, but Spain is proving to be a different story.

“And is that something you do a lot of? Dominating people?”

Dane Huntley might be Lexie’s assistant but when it comes to after hours, he needs to be in charge. Because his brother died and his parents didn’t take it well, he was placed in a safety zone…so to speak. The situation is out of his hands at the moment and being a Dom is the only aspect where he has control. Lexie and Dane’s relationship really grows into something special, with both characters finding themselves. But what happens when it’s time to go home, can Lexie and Dane keep what they gained in Spain or will everything be lost?

I loved how the heroine was the boss and the hero was her assistant. Definitely a unique spin on this type of trope. Dane and Lexie are both portrayed realistically, as well. Neither of them is perfect, each with their own flaws and vulnerabilities that keep the reader interested. I also loved how the words flew off the pages. I didn’t feel as though I was reading a story, but instead, watching two people I cared about connecting and becoming what each other needs. There are a couple of angsty moments the characters need to get through, but the author doesn’t drag them out.

My take on this book…soulful romance woven expertly, that will leave readers mesmerized. Get your copy immediately!
