Nobody’s Angel (Willow Park #1) by Sarah Hegger is a story about coming home, about seeking nobodysangeland finding forgiveness for hurting those that you love. It is about a second chance at finding love and deciding what you really want out of life. This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions and in the end, give you a HEA that makes the emotional ride worth it.

Lucy Flint was the party girl, trouble maker, alcoholic, who left a train of heartache and hurt in her wake when she left home nine years ago. After straightening out her act, Lucy is no longer the party girl that everyone remembers. She has come home to face the people she hurt and to asked for forgiveness. The problem is, people only know her as that girl and trying to get them to see her for who she is now proves difficult, including the person that she hurt the most, Richard Hunter.

Dr. Richard Hunter was happy with his life the way it was, well he was almost happy. Estranged from his wife, Lucy’s former best friend, Richard is trying everything that he can think of to save his marriage. Never expecting to see Lucy again, never expecting to still feel the white hot attraction that he thought was long gone, he now has some serious decisions to make.

At times in the book I really felt sorry for Lucy, yes she did some very horrible things in her past, but she is trying her best to make amends. The way that she is treated by the everyone at times had me in tears. The relationship between Richard and Lucy, the chemistry that they had together after so much time had past was still there, still as electrifying as every. In the end, Nobody’s Angel by Sarah Hegger had everything that a GREAT HEA should have. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will not be my last.

In this evocative new series from author Sarah Hegger, a woman returns home after a long absence—and wonders if two wrongs really can make a right…

Nine years ago Lucy Flint ran away to Seattle, taking her friend’s boyfriend and leaving her high school sweetheart without a word of explanation. Now she’s back in Willow Park, Illinois, to help care for her ailing father—and it’s no surprise that her ex, Dr. Richard Hunter, is still angry.

Still, she’s a different Lucy now. Sober, wiser, ready to make amends to the long—make that very long—list of those she mistreated during her wild younger days. Falling for Richard all over again would mean wreaking havoc in both their lives and possibly squandering her opportunity for redemption. But here, in the place where everything went wrong, is the one person who always felt right, and a second-chance that could be the best mistake she ever made…
