One Hot Desert Night by Kristi Gold is a well written romance about two individuals who heal each other.
Half of the romance takes place in a cave and I loved this unusual yet captivating setting. Sheikh Rayad Rostam has devoted his life to protecting his country and avenging his wife’s untimely death. His sudden attraction to adventurous foreign correspondent is unwanted and provides a hindrance to his plans. Still, when a violent storm threatens, Rayad refuses to let her go. They take passionate refuge in each other’s arms.
Rayad is a tortured hero who thinks his only chance at redemption is avenging the death of his family. He needed a woman to make him complete and show him that sometimes it is best to let it go rather than destroying yourself on the path of vengeance. Sunny was just the right person to do so. She was brave, sweet and kind hearted.
The romance was gradual, sweet and did not have any significant angst. Both the characters heal and help each other in this sensual, warm second chance romance .
One Hot Desert Night was enjoyable story but I was expecting a little more from it. Maybe a little more conflict or a little more tension between the characters would have been helpful.
Overall, One Hot Desert Night by Kristi Gold is a well written second chance romance and is recommended for all the author’s fans.

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve read a Kristi Gold sheikh story. I might have to get this one since she usually does them really well. Thanks for the review.
