The result is an unplanned baby but what I really adored about this story is that it wasn’t your usual unplanned pregnancy troupe. Losing her job in London, Santiago whisks Kitty back to Bali to work at his eco resort at her request on the condition she understands their one night was exactly that! But their one night is timeless and Santiago gives into temptation and seeks Kitty out. Eventually finding out Kitty’s main motivation for returning to the beautiful island paradise, Santiago is livid!
Sharon Kendrick has crafted a beautiful and light on angst paradise romance. Two people grow closer together and reading their journey was lovely. I would say it’s different because Kitty approached her pregnancy differently to other heroines. Her past drives her choices and she really wants to learn more of the person who will be the father and what drives him in life. Of course it wouldn’t be a Presents romance if all went well and I loved the crunch when all was revealed. Kitty and Santiago’s rocky path to love was lovely and I really enjoyed this story.
Highly recommended for those who haven’t been lucky enough to visit Bali and for those who love a good story which is light on dark angst.
