There is drama with both families and there is the simmering passion that is growing mixed with Lady Nataliya’s feelings for King Nikolai which she has never shared because the King was previously married.
I really enjoyed Queen by Royal Appointment. The fun, emotion and energy between the two characters is enjoyable to read and quite a beautiful story which is highly recommended for those who aren’t looking for angst.
