Romance For Cynics by Nicola Marsh: Cash needed some good press and quick. His latest client didn’t take kindly to his rebuff and had started some very damaging rumors – rumors that had his other clients wondering if they should be looking elsewhere for financial advice. It just so happens RFCthat his old school pal works for a very in-demand PR firm – and they have an opportunity that could give him a quick reputation boost. He just has to find a suitable girlfriend to woo in front of the cameras for a couple of weeks.

When it comes to getting down and dirty, Lucy Grant is no slouch. Well, in the literal sense. She ditched the glitzy life she had with her no-good ex to be a gardener. And she found herself in Cash Burgess’ backyard at the very wrong-est time. When he approached her with the crazy idea to be his fake girlfriend in exchange for an unearthly sum and the chance to completely overhaul his garden – she turned him down flat. But learning about her Grandmother’s predicament changed her mind immediately.

So, thus it is that Cash and Lucy find themselves as a couple in a Valentine’s Day competition. No desire to win the all-expenses paid dream vacation, no thoughts about making anything between them real… that is, until he kisses her, and all hell breaks loose. Not only do the sparks fly between them, but the votes online go through the roof. What’ll happen if they actually win? And what about the contest? 😉

Another great KISS book. I know I sound like a broken record here, but they’re all really fantastic. This one was fun and flirty – with some angsty bits thrown in. Cash has a bit of backstory, and Lucy’s Ex did quite a number on her. The banquet near the end was almost painful to read, but of course the making up was beautiful. Lots of sass and quite hot – I recommend.

Must. Not. Fall. For. Fake. Boyfriend.

Cashel Burgess’s PR team has come up with a plan to salvage his reputation and show his “softer” side by entering him in a Valentine’s Day competition to find Australia’s Most Romantic Couple. It’s so ridiculous it might actually work. The hitch? He doesn’t even have a girlfriend. But that’s not about to stop himÂ….

Thanks to a good-for-nothing ex, gardener Lucy Grant hates Valentine’s Day. But when Cash makes her an offer too good to refuse, Lucy finds herself half of the most cynical couple in Australia! The only problem is, when a man fakes it this well, a girl might be tempted to turn fiction into factÂ….
