REVIEW: Sex God by Marie Force

Sex God: Marie Force always delivers sexy, sassy, heartfelt romances, and Sex God is another winner. This second-chance romance has all of the feels and will leave you smiling long after the last page.

Garrett and Lauren are childhood friends who have felt the sexual tension and romantic feelings steadily grow over the years. One night while inhibitions are reduced, they give into their desire and sleep together. Well, it doesn’t go so well and both are left wondering if their chemistry isn’t really sexual and they should just remain friends. Luckily, it’s not too awkward between them afterwards.

Their connection is far from just physical; therefore, the lackluster sex doesn’t diminish those feelings that they have for each other. Should try again? Garrett says yes and convinces her to give them a shot. Turns out that bad night was truly a fluke, and these two discover they have NO problems being compatible in the bedroom. Their love scenes are hot.

While it might seem they have the answer to their just-friends-or-not dilemma, they have complications. Garrett has plans to leave their hometown of Marfa, Texas, while Lauren could never imagine living anywhere else. Lauren is the one thing that might keep him in this town, but their differing visions for the future could prove to be an insurmountable road block.

Sex God is a sexy, charming, fun and entertaining friends-to-lovers romance. Garrett and Lauren have incredible chemistry (when they get it right) and are truly endearing together. There’s lots of witty banter and verbal flirtation that will keep the reader laughing, and there is a great cast of secondary characters that add to the comedic moments. If you love a heartfelt, hilarious love story with characters you wish you could be friends with in real life, you’ll love Sex God. I can’t wait to see what Marie Force writes next!
