Take Me On (Ross Siblings #4) by Cherrie Lynn: Wow, what a way to begin a novel, a bride being jilted by the groom ten minutes before the infamous walk down the aisle. The groom just doesn’t show up and the bride’s brother is the bearer of the heartbreaking news. For thirty-six year old Gabriella Ross, her life is in now in shambles. With no place else to go, she moves back in with her rigid parents until she has TMto leave in a few months for her second year of medical school, in Dallas, Texas. The intense summer of Gabby has just begun.

Gabby has always been a good-girl, so when she begins to hang out in the bars and occasionally stay out all night, her parents begin to worry. When she walks into her brother’s tattoo parlor and gets inked, her entire family is shell-shocked to say the least. In addition, not only does hunky tattoo artist Ian Rhodes create the most beautiful phoenix Gabby has ever seen, he witnesses and helps her through an emotional moment, that ultimately brings them together.

Ian is a kind and gentle bad-boy. He grew up in an abusive family and to this day, his weak mother blames him for his stepfather’s fatal heart-attack. He is a very talented tattoo artist, but dreams of doing more with his life.

Gabby and Ian share an explosive night of heat and passion, which turns into much, much more. Ian is eight years younger than Gabby and she worries about their age difference. Gabby craves and needs stability, which she is not sure Ian can provide. Ian realizes that he wants Gabby forever, but he does not want to wreck her future
plans. For both of them, life is difficult to navigate.

I did find it odd that Gabby relied on her parents for most of her finances, even though she had been a nurse for many years prior to deciding to go to medical school. The connection between Gabby and Ian is overpowering, in addition to being sensitive and passionate. Ms. Lynn is an expert love scene writer and panting is not uncommon when reading any of her novels, including this one. I enjoyed this hot, sexy read from Cherrie Lynn. This book packs a lot of emotion and drama into a quick-paced plot.

The consequences of a moment can last a lifetime.

Gabriella Ross suffered every bride’s worst nightmare: a no-show groom. Now summer stretches before her with nowhere to go but home, at least until it’s time to go back to medical school.

Determined to prove she might be down but definitely not out, she chucks all her old plans in favor of having a good time—starting with giving herself a pair of wings. Tattooed wings, that is, in the form of a phoenix on her back.

When everyone else at Dermamania chickens out at the prospect of putting the gorgeous, perfect skin of the boss’s big sister under the needle, Ian Rhodes finds himself stepping up. Then unexpectedly connecting with her through tears that have nothing to do with the pain of getting inked.

Attraction flares into one hot night that was supposed to stay that way—single, and secret. But best laid plans have a way of getting blown out of the water. Now two perfect strangers must plan for a very different future…beginning with whether there’s enough common ground to spend it together.

Warning: Contains explicit sex, graphic language, Ross family drama, reuniting with beloved old friends…and a hot tattooed, Harley-riding hero who doesn’t mind being robbed from the cradle.
