Texas Mom by Roz Denny Fox: Prepare with a box of tissues for a sweet and heartbreaking adventure, as Delaney will Texas-Mom-by-Roz-Denny-Foxdo everything she can to save her son’s live by contacting Dario, Nickolas’s father.

Delaney Blair is very happy to live where she does, not only does she have great clients for her veterinary business, but she has great friends that support and help her in everything they can. Two years ago they were there to help her when her son’s cancer was first detected. Now they are there for her to gather funds to support her while she goes through the pain of her son’s relapse. But even with their help doing a drive to find marrow donors, she has not been able to find a match. Their only chance might just be Dario, and convince him to get tested.

Which is how Delaney finds herself on a plane bound for Argentina and Dario. The only man she loved and the one who never contacted her after taking her virginity. But she must put her pain behind her if she wants to save Nickolas. But life always has it’s challenges, here we begin with Dario not believing being Nickolas’s father and that her family ruined his. Which is only one of the many reasons he never contacted her after that night.

Even with his doubts Dario will fly to Texas to get the tests done and possibly save his child’s life, but first he wants a DNA test to make sure Nickolas is his. That is until the moment he lays eyes on Nickolas, for there is no doubt that he is his child.

Now he has to deal with his father and eldest brother since neither of them want him to accept Nickolas or for him to help him, both believing that Delaney only wants his money. And to top things off, there is the chemistry and attraction between them that never really died. But how can they work to find their happiness together when their son’s life is on the line?

I can honestly say that I cried during this read, but loved it so much. It has the romance that we all love, but also tells us a little of the pain that parents go through when their children’s life’s are on the line, and what being a donor can do to help even if it’s just one life. Not to mention that the ending was the best, I loved that what I thought could be the obvious answer to Nickolas’s problem was not and the results brought the best kind of happiness to everyone involved.

If you want a sweet, heartwarming and great read, don’t miss Texas Mom by Roz Denny Fox.

FOR THEIR SON

Texas veterinarian Delaney Blair will do anything to find a bone marrow donor for her four-year-old son, Nickolas. The only likely match is his Argentinean father, Dario. But Dario and Delaney didn’t part on good terms. In fact, he doesn’t even know he has a son!

Delaney travels to Argentina to find him, and Dario, shocked, returns to Texas. It’s not long before Nick and Dario become close. Not only that, Dario can’t hide the feelings he has for Delaney—feelings that have been there since they met. Dario’s family doesn’t want him to be with her. But now they have to see if the love between them is strong enough to keep them together.
