Complications arise when things start heating up between Glory and Castor. Castor doesn’t believe he deserves love and he fights the feelings tooth and nail. His past is what drives him and once he starts feeling himself caring for Glory he knows it’s time to cut ties.
I adore Jackie Ashenden’s stories. The narrative is always exciting. The emotion is always deep and heartfelt. They always commence with great drama and wrap up with a beautiful conclusion. The Innocent’s One-Night Proposal was one of the most dramatic marriage of convenience stories I have read and usually these aren’t my favourite, I just couldn’t not put this one down. I love the cover, it’s 100% accurate in my mind.
Highly recommended to lovers of high drama, deep emotion and exotic locations.
