In The Last Temptation of Dr. Dalton by Robin Gianna, cool, collected hospital director Charlotte Edwards doesn’t like losing control but for one night she breaks all her rules and spends one very hot and passionate night with the very sexy Dr. Trent Dalton who is leaving the country next morning. But an emergency forces Charlotte to bury her pride and request Trent to stay on to help.

The Last Temptation of Dr. Dalton is yet another well executed medical romance by Robin Gianna. The story is set in Liberia, West Africa which was something new and different. The medical details were in a perfect harmony with the romance and took the story a notch higher.

Charlotte is a very strong and independent woman who is always in control. She is feisty, bossy at times and knows how to stand up for herself. I loved her throughout the story because though she had many great qualities, she had some flaws too. Trent is a great hero because he was sweet, sexy, caring and a perfect match for our feisty heroine. It was fun reading about him because there was so many facets to his character. The chemistry is hot and it made the romance even more believable. The story has the trust and betrayal trope incorporated in the romance. Though this has been done before Robin Gianna gives her own refreshing and enjoyable take on the same.

Overall, The Last Temptation of Dr. Dalton is a well written medical romance which does not disappoint.With strong characters and a well written story, it was a delight to read this.
