The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland: Layla is done with picking the wrong guy. She’s content in a new relationship with another lawyer from her firm. When she’s not working all the hours of the day, she spends time with her best friend and goddaughter. With all the billable hours, she’s starting to get back into the good graces of the senior partners.

She couldn’t be more surprised when she’s asked to do a client presentation, until she meets the client. Gray made quite the impression when they were together and it was a challenge for her to move on, so he is just about the last person she expected or wants to see. Gray is on a mission to earn Layla’s trust and win her over despite the many obstacles in his way. He’s determined, persistent, and very stubborn. Layla can only ignore or try to fight their connection for so long. Trying to win back and then keep Layla is harder than Gray imagined.

“We need to talk, sweetheart,” I said.
“I agree. So why don’t you answer your home phone already?”
I was thoroughly confused for a few heartbeats. “How do you know my…”
“Because I’m standing downstairs, waiting for you to tell your nice doorman to allow me to come up.”

The Naked Truth is an entertaining, steamy, and engaging second chance romance. I loved the really creative backstories and characters that Vi Keeland developed for this unique spin on one of my favorite tropes. Ms. Keeland provided a great story with plenty of surprises and a really fun cast of characters in their friends and family. Fans of Katie Ashley, Emma Chase, and Penelope Ward will enjoy The Naked Truth.
