Will he and his horses be just what Valerie needs?
The Perfect Man is three novellas about three friends rolled neatly into one book. They are so well connected, the transition between characters is seamless. The novellas are the perfect length for the stories being told, the pace was fast, and the plot enchanting. I liked how with each novella we still saw the characters from the previous ones, so there was follow through with their stories also.
These three woman have a real connection that enhances the realism of them and their friendships. They come from different backgrounds but that doesn’t have any effect on the closeness they have. They are fun, loyal, loving, and open with each other. They feel like the kind of ladies I’d want as friends. The relationships of the men blend well, and I loved the different ways Vicki brings each of them in. The setting of each novella is different, I loved the animals, and I was never bored reading The Perfect Man.
A happy, emotional book with strong characters and a fairy tale feel, I’d recommend The Perfect Man to any contemporary romance reader.

New York Times Bestselling Author Vicki Lewis Thompson presents a sweet, sexy novel about saddling up, getting lucky, and finding love…
Sorority sisters Melanie, Astrid, and Valerie have been inseparable since college. Even years after graduating, they still get together to debate their favorite topic: Who is the perfect man?
While growing up on a ranch, Melanie always assumed that she’d marry a cowboy—until a Parisian adventure introduces her to a dashing Texas billionaire and makes her doubt what she really wants.
Astrid’s parents expect her to settle down with someone rich, but when she can’t keep her hands off a hardworking and handsome rancher, her world turns upside down.
After a terrifying accident, Valerie doesn’t expect ever to risk love again—until she meets the one man no woman can resist: a billionaire cowboy.
As the three argue over what makes a man a great catch—a pocketful of dollars or spurs on his boots—they discover that the perfect man is sometimes exactly what you’d least expect.
