The Prince’s Cinderella by Andrea Bolter: Left without parents is heartbreaking, left without love may be even worse.

Marie Paquet knew that, she knew what it was like to be left without parents, without love, without hope. She rose above. She wasn’t completely sure of herself and she still had her moments, but she was making her life happen. She was certain that someway she would persevere. Would she ever have a family though?

Prince Zander de Nellay couldn’t believe how much his life had changed in a year. Would there ever be a sense of normalcy again? Or had his normal just changed to a different kind of normal. All he knew was he was going to work hard to make sure his niece was taken care of and that she would grow up knowing she was loved and had the power to make things better.

Marie and Zander were worlds apart, in every way, but somehow they were going to have to work together and make the world a better place. While making the larger world a better place would they be able to make their worlds better?

This was interesting. It was a good plot line, done well, which is good because the main theme is a little over done. However it deals strongly with orphans and the psychology there which is incredibly interesting and heartbreaking at the same time. Ms. Bolter does a great job dealing with it in a manner that respects, teaches and moves you without making an over zealous point. The love story itself is slow and then bang… Over all though the writing for a women’s lit is fantastic and recommended.
