The Last Prince Of Dahaar is the second part in A Dynasty of Sand and Scandal series and can be read as a standalone. I liked this one better than its prequel, especially the last few chapters which were written beautifully and had the intensity, the story required.
Azeez is not an easy hero and at the start of the story you can see he is suffering very badly. His past is unfortunate and he did not take the rejection from Nikhat in a good way. He thought she was choosing her dreams over him. When Nikhat re enters his life after eight years, there are loads of issues to be sorted between them. This resulted in this story being a very much angst ridden and somewhat treading on the darker side type of story.
Nikhat is a obstetrician and a strong heroine who is very comfortable with her own sexuality. I liked her overall and thought her decision of leaving Azeez was not that grave. She should have told him the real reason for leaving him and parted on a better terms, but personally I thought it was her life and she had the right to choose it the way she wanted to live the same.
The romance is angst ridden and emotional with a few very well written scenes. Some chapters are a little slow moving and therefore the half star deduction.
Overall, The Last Prince Of Dahaar by Tara Pammi is a well written and enjoyable romance and would be loved by all the author’s fans.
