REVIEW: Wait for Always by K.A. Linde

Wait for Always by K.A. Linde: Ash has been a part of Amelia’s life for as long as she can remember, he has been there through the good time and the bad, but one thing that he could never be was more than her brothers best friend. This however never stopped Amelia from pining after him for all these years, even when he was set to marry someone else, but now that Ash is finally single maybe, just maybe this could be Amelia’s time to show him that she is not that little girl that he rescued back in high school. But can she be sure that this time would be different and she won’t be left nursing a broken heart again?

If you have been following the Costal Chronicles series then you have definitely been waiting to get your hands on Ash and Amelia’s book and let me just tell you right now that this book did not disappoint one bit! I’m a total sucker for a brothers best friend romance and Linde delivered this trope to us on a golden plater! Wait For Always had everything that we have come to love about Linde’s writing and the addictive way in which she draws us into her characters worlds.

“No. You do not need to do that. You’re not my white knight. The princess saved herself in this one.”

I just loved our girl Amelia, she was such a strong, sassy leading lady that knew what she wanted and was not afraid to go after it. As much as I loved her love and affection for Ash, her heart really did take a beating having to see him with someone else for so long. This only made her finally standing up and putting herself first all the more amazing. I loved getting to see her really putting her heart first and finding her own happiness over that of someone else.

Good gosh has Ash had us invested right from the start. This guy really had a lot going on with the whole Cole and Lila thing and his feelings for Amelia. Thankfully things finally begin to work out the only thing he needs to do is prove to Amelia that he is worth all the risk. I will say one thing about Ash, the guy is a true romantic and he really knows how to woo his lady. I really liked that once he had worked through his past he was all in on wooing his way into Amelia’s heart and proving to her that he was serious.

I really loved getting to see the flash backs of how Amelia and Ash’s relationship has grown and evolved over time. This only made me love seeing them finally get their happily ever after. If there was one thing that I really love about this book it was the fact that it proved that love will always find a way!

Wait For Always is a total must read this book was the perfect combination of angst and swoon, and the perfect way to tie up what has been an incredible series!
