When Christakos Meets His Match is the second part in the Blood Brothers series. It is a well written romance with entertaining situations and a perfect ending. Sidonie is a strong heroine who works hard and does not take crap lying down from anyone. I liked her attitude throughout the story and her sweet as well as a strong persona made her character even more likable. My problem was with the hero, Alexio. He started out well and for the first few pages he had a great potential to be one of those dreamy heroes but soon his paranoia of getting fleeced by a gold digger ruined everything for me. I understand that the emotional baggage he carried from his past made him distrustful of women but accusing and distrusting Sid everytime without even stopping for an explanation was just not fair. The only consolation was that he did have his grovelling moments in the end.
Overall, When Christakos Meets His Match is a well written romance with amazing chemistry. If you can just ignore the hero’s harshness and paranoia then its a solid read.
