Wishing For Us: A Danvers Novel by Sydney Landon: After losing her fiancé three years ago, Lydia is slowing coming alive once again. While Jake has plenty of drama in his personal life, he finds that Lydia is a constant source of support and brings peace to his life.

He chuckled, shaking his head. “Wow, so romantic, sweetheart. Your words are better than the finest poetry.”
“Would you prefer whipper zipper?” she managed to keep a straight face then dissolved into a fit of laughter.
“You’re going to pay for that at some point, you little minx,” he threatened good-naturedly.

Wishing For Us is entertaining, sexy, and heartwarming book that pulled me in from the very first page. Sydney Landon showcased the strong bonds of family and friendship amongst the characters with plenty of banter. Ms. Landon provided a strong and highly entertaining cast of characters that you would hang out with if you could. Wishing For Us can be read as a standalone book in the Danvers series. Fans of Jill Shalvis, Susan Mallery, and Kristan Higgins will enjoy Wishing For Us.
