Wright that Got Away by K.A. Linde: The first heart break is always the hardest to get over and this could not be

I just loved getting a chance to jump right back into the Wright universe, this series has been one of Linde’s best creations to date. This time round we get emotionally riveting second chance story of Campbell and Blaire, good gosh did these just pull on my heart strings to no end. I loved that Linda gives us sneak peaks at what happened in their past as we try to figure out if there is any chance for these two hearts to be whole again.
“She was everything. Everything I had ever wanted. I had no idea how I’d lived without her.”
Blaire was just amazing, I loved her character to bits and getting to learn her heart breaking story only made me love her all the more. I love that she put her all into becoming the success that she is now and that even with her social media fame she is completely down to Earth. It was impossible not to root her on as she tried to make amends with her past hurt.
“Everything we’d been and everything we could be, all wrapped up in one song.”
As for our superstar Campbell, I really wanted to dislike him for what he had done to Blaire but gosh did he make it hard not to just love him, especially as he tired to make things right with Blaire. He was genuinely a great guy that was down to Earth regardless of his fame. I really liked his fun loving and easy going personality. I just loved that even after all these years Blaire was still his muse.
“When I’m with you, all I want is to be closer to you. It’s like I got one single taste, and it will never be enough.”
The chemistry between Blaire and Campbell was intense, their connection was pretty much undeniable even while Blaire was trying to keep Campbell at arms length. I really liked that their story wasn’t one of those quick fixes and we really got into the nitty gritty of their high school story and how the one sided decisions effected both of them. The progression of their relationship flowed naturally with all of their doubts and fears felling very natural. I just loved the way Linde built up their journey to redemption.
Wright That Got Away is a definite must read, this heart wrenching second chance romance will draw you in right from the first chapter and have you rooting this cute couple on as they try to find their way to forever.
