Hi Elisabeth & Michelle and welcome to HJ! We’re so excited to chat with you about your new release, All We Are!

 

To start off, can you please tell us a little bit about this book?:

All We Are is the second book in our Ex-Factor Duet.
 

Please share your favorite lines or quote(s) from this book:

Maybe that’s why the passion with Lilah was so intense. We were always hurdling over peaks and falling into valleys. There was never a time to just be.”

 

What inspired this book?

The duet was originally inspired by the song, Attention by Charlie Puth.

 

How did you ‘get to know’ your main characters? Did they ever surprise you?

Luckily, we had gotten to know our main characters from book one, All We Were but they each needed a transformation for book two, which was nice to see them in a different light.

 

What was your favorite scene to write?

Unfortunately, we don’t want to spoil anything for a reader, so we’ll say we think you’ll know when you read it.

 

What was the most difficult scene to write?

Funny thing is the same scene that was our favorite was also the most difficult because there was so emotion on the page we wanted to make sure we showed it.

 

Would you say this book showcases your writing style or is it a departure for you?

This book definitely showcases our writing style.

 

What are you currently working on? What other releases do you have planned?

Right now we’re in discussions. There’s a lot of ideas of where to go with Elisabeth Grace/Michelle Lynn. We hope to have something by Fall 2019.

The two-and-half-hour flight felt more like twenty hours.

    I find it hard to forgive things, so books where there is a painful journey of forgive and forget and let go, appeal to me.
    So, if I were Jimmy, this duet never would’ve happen, lol
