In A Princess by Christmas by Jennifer Faye, Prince Alexandro Castanova arrives in snowy New York in disguise. His kingdom is suffering from a scandal caused by his brother and intends to protect his kingdom by drawing the media’s attention to himself. So APBCwhen Reese Harding—down-to-earth and heart-stoppingly beautiful—finds room for him at her inn, it seems like the perfect twist of fate.

Reese’s world came crashing down after her father died. She stopped believing in fairy tales long ago but this enigmatic stranger intrigues her! She’s learned to be wary of secrets… but when she discovers Alex’s true identity, might there be enough magic in the air to make this regular American girl a princess by Christmas…?

The fairy tale romance between a prince and commoner is beautifully written with wonderful and warm characters who don’t fail to make a mark and to top it off, it is set in the holiday season.

Alexandro was an awesome hero who took duty seriously and cared a lot about his family. Reese is someone who has gone through a lot in the past and it has changed her perspective towards life in many ways. At first she appears controlling and defensive but deep down she is afraid of history repeating itself. I admired and loved her for the way she took care of her mother and learned to live through whatever life threw at her. She was caring, sweet and totally down to earth and I was really happy when she got her HEA in the end. The romance is filled with emotions and is guaranteed to leave to with warm mushy feelings in the end. There is no angst or conflicts in the story and the romance is overall a light and fun read.

Overall, A Princess by Christmas by Jennifer Faye is for everyone is a must read for everyone looking for a light, sweet holiday romance. If you love Harlequin Romance then you are bound to love this book!

The book really sounds good! I was wishing I would have won the giveaway! Being disabled and on fixed income and trying to pay off the lawyer, can’t buy anything for awhile to read. The book is very interesting.
