In A Question of Honor by Kate Walker, Karim al Khaifa is entrusted with the ask of retrieving the rebellious runaway princess Clementina Saveneski from her hideout in England and return her home to be wed…to another man.

19302444It should be an easy task for Karim but how does he ignore her alluring scent, those seductive curves, the enticing glances she sends his way. No, his family’s honor, and his own, require Clementina to be delivered—pure and untouched—to her unwanted bridegroom. And he must resist all temptation to keep her for himself!

A Question of Honor by Kate Walker is a well written romance on duty v/s love or forbidden love trope. The story is high on emotion and there is enough to keep the reader hooked till the end.

The characters were both strong willed and had a sense of duty and honor. Clemmentine or Clemmie is a strong and loving princess who knows that she needs to fulfill her share of duty soon. I liked how she had a sense of duty towards her country but at the same time she wanted to do something for herself too. Karim al Khalifa is an honorable hero for whom duty comes first before anything else. I loved how Clemmie threw him off balance many times and made him rethink about how far will he go in the name of duty.

Overall, A Question of Honor by Kate Walker is a different romance which does not follow the conventional Harlequin Presents guidelines but still manages to impress you with its strong writing and enjoyable plotline.

A runaway princess…

It should have been easy. Karim al Khalifa, crown prince of Mazarkhad, had one task—retrieve rebellious princess Clementina Saveneski from her hideout in England and return her home to be wed…to another man.

His to find, or his to keep?

It is not for Karim to notice her alluring scent, those seductive curves, the enticing glances she sends his way. No, his family’s honor, and his own, require Clementina to be delivered—pure and untouched—to her unwanted bridegroom. And he must resist all temptation to keep her for himself!
