Cowboy for Hire by Marie Ferrarella: Constance Carmichael had everything anyone could ever want, lots of money, a fantastic house, a great job, Cowboy-for-Hireexcept what she really wanted, her father’s respect. So one night she lays it on the line for him asking to run one of his projects and he gives it to her, a chance to prove herself building a hotel in the “backwoods” town of Forever, Texas.

Finn Murphy is the middle Murphy and quiet content as things are. After all nothing in Forever has changed in forever, a small town with the small town feel where people still take care of one another. Though he has been liking the renovations he has been doing more and more and with his eldest brother getting married perhaps its time to expand just a bit more.

When Constance arrives in Forever to begin the hotel project she isn’t really sure what she is going to find, but when she sees Finn working on a house remodel she knows she’s found something she has to have, for the hotel that is. Will Finn help Constance achieve her dream of earning her father’s respect? Or will he help her to see what potential the future holds.

The second in the Murphy Brother’s book is a well written amazingly sweet small town love story. It can be read as a stand alone but reading it with the other Forever novels further explains this wonderful small town in Texas. This is a story that dives into a young lady’s dreams of family, delves into explaining things like love and respect as well as helping us to realize sometimes we all need to hear the right word(s) at the right times. Pick up this novel to see what can happen when you think about Forever.
