I’ll Stand By You by Sharon Sala is a story about hardship. It is a story about finding a helping hand where you illstandbyyouwould least expect it. It is a story about finding love and keeping your head held high despite the odds. It was truly a very special HEA that is just beautiful

Dori Grant is a single mom who is trying to raise her infant son the best she can. She has had hard times in the past, but things are just beginning to look up. Then when her grandfather passes from a heart attack and their house burns to the ground, Dori feels like all is lost. Until help comes in the from of Johnny Pine, the Blessings bad boy.

Johnny Pines may have a reputation for being the town bad boy, but the town doesn’t know everything. after being abandoned by his father, after the death of his mother, Johnny raises his brothers while trying to keep a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, and his brothers out of trouble. When he sees Dori and her son in need, he offers them a place to stay and safety in his home.

Dori and Johnny find that they have a lot in common and that they like being around each other. When a nasty neighbor makes a complaint to Child Protection Services, they marry to protect their blended family. They have a few more bumps to get over before they get their happy ending but they do get it.

I fell in love with these characters. I loved the little town of Blessings, Georgia. Even with it’s nosy neighbors, and its busy bodies, it has that small town charm. Dori and Johnny are so alike and so in tune that it broke my heart with all that they had been through. But the hardships and the struggles that they faced made them stronger people and made them the perfect compliment to each other. I look forward to reading more by this author.

No one is alone
Dori Grant is no stranger to hardship. As a young single mother in the gossip-fueled town of Blessings, Georgia, she’s weathered the storm of small-town disapproval most of her life. But when Dori loses everything within the span of an evening, she realizes she has no choice but to turn to her neighbors.

As long as there is love to give
Everyone says the Pine boys are no good, but Johnny Pine has been proving the gossips wrong ever since his mother died and he took over raising his brothers. His heart goes out to the young mother and child abandoned by the good people of Blessings. Maybe he can be the one to change all that…
