Stumbling Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds: Mackenzie has no interest in dating or relationships after wasting two years in love with one of her best male friends. She wants to work, hang out with her sisters, and keep her crazy mom from setting her up with men in the hopes of grandchildren. She’s a sassy, sexy tomboy who has no idea of her appeal to the opposite sex.

Wesley is one of New York City’s finest and he loves his job as a cop. He moved to NYC after losing his best friend and partner and he’s still not quite recovered from that loss. He’s sexy, charming, and a gentleman.

Getting dolled up in makeup, dress, and heels to meet a blind date at a bar isn’t really Mac’s cup of tea, but her night takes a turn for the better when Wesley walks in. They have instant chemistry and an amazing one-night stand, until Mac runs out the next morning. Wesley definitely wants more, and they just so happen to run into each again and again.

“I kind of like you, Wesley Jameson.”
“I just straight-up like you, Mackenzie Reed,” I say.
She smiles dancing her fingers across my neck. Her eyes watch them move across my skin.
“Why don’t you call me Mac, like everyone else.”
“Because I don’t want to be like everyone else to you,” I say.

Wesley definitely pursues Mac since they seem to have this one-of-a-kind chemistry and he’s intrigued by everything about her. Everything about Wesley seems too good to be true, especially since Mac is feeling vulnerable and unsure of herself. One by one, he seems to break down her walls with his steady presence and ability to not freak out by her crazy mom.

I narrow my eyes on his. “That better be a joke, because it if’s not, I swear the moment I know I’m okay I’m going to kick your ass all over New York City.”
“Gorgeous, shut up and kiss me,” he demands.

Stumbling Into Love is funny, sexy, and hooked me from the first chapter. Aurora Rose Reynolds definitely entertained with banter, family dynamics, and amazing chemistry. Ms. Reynolds created a strong and entertaining cast of characters that you could easily see as your friends. Stumbling Into Love can be read as a standalone in the Fluke of My Life series. Fans of Lorelei James, Lauren Layne, and Jessica Clare will enjoy Stumbling Into Love.

Mackenzie Reed has officially been stood up. Not only has she wasted two years on Mr. So Not Interested but now she doesn’t even have pizza and the Mets to keep her company. Then he walks into her life—more than six feet of rugged, hot stranger. Maybe, just for tonight, Mac can pretend to be a girl she’s not. After all, she deserves a little no-strings fun…

As far as Wesley Porter is concerned, one night with Mackenzie isn’t nearly enough. She’s a mystery he wants to solve—if he can keep her from running for the door every time they touch. There’s obviously some serious chemistry between them, so why is she fighting it?

As one sexy hookup turns into another (and another), Wesley is determined to prove they were made for each other. But Mac has been hurt before, and she refuses to fall for this sexy, ridiculously perfect guy. In fact, she has every intention of fighting it…unless he can convince her otherwise.
