In The Doctor’s Redemption by Susan Carlisle, Dr Mark Clayborn has enough demons to face when he returns to The-Doctors-RedemptionAlabama. But when Laura Jo Atkins enters his life, she shines like a beacon of light in his darkened world and he begins to hope.

Laura Jo’s only focus has been her daughter, but despite her reluctance, gorgeous Mark incites feelings she’d thought herself immune to… Could Laura Jo be the one to give Mark the courage to stay—and discover the love he deserves?

Susan Carlisle’s romances always have a strong emotional connection in them and this was no different. Mark and Laura have a strong emotional connection which made me believe and enjoy their romance.

Mark is a tortured hero with his own share of problems which are many. Laura is a dedicated nurse and a loving mother. Her daughter is her sole focus and her flawed past makes her an emphatic partner to Mark.

The Doctor’s Redemption by Susan Carlisle is a journey of healing and loving again filled with emotions. The author’s fans are definately going to like this story 🙂
