REVIEW: The Soldier She Could Never Forget by Tina Beckett

In The Soldier She Could Never Forget by Tina Beckett, Clinton Marks was Jessi Riley’s first The-Soldier-She-Could-Never-Forgetlove but he left her with a broken heart when he left the town on the night of her graduation, after sharing one unforgettable night together. Now, two decades later, he’s back in her life as the military doctor looking after her daughter!

As shared memories float to the surface, Jessi and Clint can no longer deny their longing for each other. Could it be that second time around, one night will become forever?

The Soldier She Could Never Forget by Tina Beckett was a well written second chance romance with mature characters. Jess is a mother of a twenty one year old daughter, Chelesa and I loved how strong and caring she was. The way she supported and stood like a rock with Chelesa was amazing. Clint is Chelesa’s new doctor and seeing Jess again opens a whole new box of complications. The romance is slow paced and it takes time for the main characters to reconnect as they have twenty years between them. Chelesa’s recovery is both their top priority and they bond through helping her get back on her feet.

The medical details are some of the best I have ever read and are given in enough amounts to satisfy a medical romance reader. There are loads of issues to deal, things to understand and sort out before the characters get a HEA so it was not an easy ride but in the end I think it was worth it.

The Soldier She Could Never Forget by Tina Beckett is for everyone who loves a second chance and deep emotionally meaningful romances.

Thanks for the review, Ipshita. I really like second chance stories with older characters, so I’ll be adding this book to my wish list.
