In Valorous (Quantum Trilogy #2) by M.S. Force, Natalie Bryant is still reeling after meeting Valorousand falling in love with Flynn Godfrey, one of the biggest movie stars on the planet in NYC. She thanks her beloved dog Fluff every day for causing Natalie to run headlong into Flynn’s path, where they instantly connected. But it hasn’t all been a fairytale since their meet-cute. The terrifying ordeal Natalie lived through in her mid-teens has become public fodder and now she’s dealing with the fallout. Again. But with Flynn and their friends by her side, she knows she’ll make it through. As long as their relationship survives the damage.

“The last time my life blew up in my face, I was very much alone. This time, I have you and Leah and Addie and everyone you have helping us.”
“You’re far from alone,” he says fiercely, his brown eyes shimmering with love and intensity. “I’d kill for you, Natalie.”

Flynn was absolutely taken with Natalie from the first moment their eyes met. He couldn’t fully explain their attraction and the magnetic force between them if he tried. And he has certainly tried to explain it to his business partners, and co-owners of the Quantum Club. The exclusive BDSM club has been a big part of his life, being a Dominant. But with Natalie’s past and lack of sexual experience, Flynn is trying to push away his need for control. While he helps her through their latest ordeal, he only hopes he can be exactly who she needs. Because he will do anything in his power to keep her safe and feeling loved.

‘…After what she’s been through, there’s no way I’m bringing dominance or submission into our bed. I’ll find a way to live without it, because living without her isn’t an option.’

The whirlwind romance continues as the past catches up with both Flynn and Natalie in Valorous, the second book in a brand new *erotic* series by M.S. Force, aka: Marie Force. Be prepared for a bumpy but wonderful ride.

‘She slays me with her sweetness and her light. How can there be all that light when she’s endured so much darkness? I admire her as much as I love her.’

This trilogy is rather difficult to explain without giving too much of the story away, but I’ll give it my best shot. I should start by saying two things: 1 – This is a cliffhanger (again) but each of the three installments come out a week apart, so you don’t have to wait long for the continuation. And 2 – It would be best to read these in order where the story builds from one book to the next.

Aside from that, I think Ms. Force did another fantastic job with this next step in Natalie and Flynn’s relationship. There were still some of the same issues plaguing them this time around, namely Natalie’s past, of which we learned the horrific details and found out exactly how strong and courageous she truly was back then at age fifteen. However, Flynn’s Dominant ways were also encroaching on their intimacy with both positive and negative results. It was a landmine an outsider could see coming from miles away, and my only frustration with the story, even though I could see both party’s side of the story.

The writing style was definitely that of an erotic story, being written in the first person, with dual points of view. I thought the narrative felt authentic and had an emotional depth that made me connect with both Natalie and Flynn. There wasn’t a lot of the BDSM element — yet — but the love scenes managed to be both erotic and tender at the same time. No small feat. And it fell in place perfectly with their relationship. I loved that the secondary characters were just as well placed as in the first book, and that we got more time with Natalie’s cute-but-fiercely-protective senior doggie Fluff-o-Nutter. There were some humorous and lovely moments with Fluff prominently included. 🙂

M.S. Force has wowed me again with the latest turn of events in Flynn and Natalie’s lives, and with the Quantum Trilogy in general. I highly recommend checking out this series.

New York Times bestselling author Marie Force writing as M.S. Force…

He’s a sexual dominant. She’s sworn off sex. There’s no way they can make a relationship work—or can they?

After surviving a traumatic event at age fifteen and the ensuing estrangement from her family, Natalie Bryant has worked for years to reinvent herself into the woman she is today—a happy teacher fresh out of college and enjoying her first winter in New York City with her faithful dog, Fluff, by her side. Natalie isn’t expecting her life to change completely during a routine stroll through Greenwich Village on a blustery January day. But when Fluff breaks loose and charges into a park, Natalie gives chase and crashes into her destiny. Only after Fluff bites and draws blood from the man who accidentally knocked Natalie down does she realize Fluff has bitten the biggest movie star in the world.

He has no business being enthralled by the gorgeous, young, innocent teacher…
Natalie captivates Flynn Godfrey from the first moment their eyes meet while she is lying on the ground and he’s fighting off her ferocious little beast of a dog. The only thing Flynn knows for certain is if he lets Natalie get away, he’ll regret it for the rest of his life. After only a short time in her presence, Flynn is prepared to change who he is to be what she needs. He knows he’s in big trouble when she says she won’t sleep with him and he doesn’t care if it means he gets to keep her in his life. But can he turn his back on the lifestyle that has defined him? Can he deny the desires that drive him to give Natalie the introduction to love and romance she so deserves? And most of all, can he keep his truth hidden from her long enough to have forever with her?

Join Flynn and Natalie as their story unfolds in three full-length books released three weeks in a row: VIRTUOUS, VALOROUS and VICTORIOUS. From New York to Los Angeles, from Hollywood to Las Vegas, Flynn and Natalie’s whirlwind love affair has it all—romance, passion, steamy hot sex, relentless paparazzi and a murder that could be their undoing.

If you hate dirty-talking heroes who put it all on the line for the women they love, who leave no desire unfulfilled, who will do anything it takes to protect what’s theirs…If elements of BDSM make you queasy, if smoking hot sex isn’t your thing, if cliffhangers make you rage, if you hate first-person points of view from the heroine AND the hero… this trilogy is NOT for you! You’ve been warned…
