The Wedding Agreement by Elizabeth Hayley: Cass doesn’t believe that marriage and a The-Wedding-Agreementfamily are for her. She’s totally dedicated to achieving her career goals and doesn’t believe she’s cut out for a long-term, committed relationship. Alex is just about married to his job as an FBI agent, since he often has unpredictable hours. He lives for his job and the time he gets to spend with his adorable daughter.

Cass has a slight problem with talking before thinking, which lands them in their current predicament. Cass and Alex have been enjoying a friends with benefits relationship that’s worked pretty well for them. But everything changes when Cass impulsively announces their engagement as a way to ensure Alex can spend more time with his daughter.

“You used to be more fun. Wedding planning has changed you.”
Alex let loose a laugh that he’d clearly tried to hold in. “You’re the one who’s not fun. This place is packed with people who enjoy these games.
Cass looked around. “Very true. Too bad they’re all ten.”

Alex and Cass had a great friendship with plenty of banter. They always gave as good as they got. Their relationship changes overnight as they have to go through the motions to plan a wedding and they have to become more involved in each other’s lives. Before long being together feels natural and much more real than either expected.

Alex stirred the taco with the ground beef. “Why? So I’ll have to run out for takeout again when you burn everything?”
Cass walked over and flicked him in the arm. “Very funny. At least I’m able to escape the kitchen without third-degree burns.”
“Maybe you are, but the food isn’t.”

The Wedding Agreement is hot, funny, emotional, and unexpected in a really good way. Elizabeth Hayley created an engaging arranged relationship story that pushes Alex and Cass to commit. Ms. Hayley provided great characters in their group of friends and Alex’s daughter. Fans of Marie Force and Shannon Stacey will enjoy The Wedding Agreement.

Love doesn’t always follow the same schedule…

Likewise, Cassidy Mullen is fine on her own. The independent career woman has never had a husband in her plans—forget about kids. But when her friend Alex gets into a bind with his ex over their daughter, Cass finds herself suddenly playing the part of Alex’s stable, child-loving fiancée—and liking it a lot more than she’d care to admit.

Soon Alex and Cass can’t deny the real passion growing between them. But as fake affection turns into real love, Cass and Alex will have to make a choice: say “I Do” to their feelings or give up on happily-ever-after for good…
