Worth the Risk by Zara Cox: Gideon is sexy, charming, arrogant, and determined. He’s young to be a CEO, and he’s very successful in leading the family company. He also has quite the reputation for working hard and playing harder. After being betrayed three years ago, he’s thrown himself into the role of playboy and generated the press to match.

Leonie also runs her own successful company. She’s bold, feisty, independent, savvy, and willing to take risks. She’s determined to reach her goals for the business and taking no time for a relationship after being burned by her ex.

Gideon is a powerful CEO, but he’s still at the mercy of the board. He’s less than pleased to have the board members, who happen to be his own family, mandate that he clean up his image. He figures he can manage since he’s spending all his effort on his latest deal, until he meets the fiery Leonie in person. She pushes back and challenges him in a way most others don’t, but he still opts to move forward with her company.

“I hate conditions.”
“And I detest games, Mr. Mortimer.”
“All games or just specific ones?” he drawled, amused.
“For the sake of our potential business relationship, let’s stick to all games.” I responded tightly.

Gideon and Leonie have sizzling chemistry from their first in-person meeting. He’s a very demanding client and definitely loves to push her buttons. Both struggle with keeping their relationship professional despite the risks for them both. They find they have a lot in common as they get to know each other pretty well while on the yacht.

“You really think you’re a special snowflake, don’t you?”
He smirked. “Yes, but you’ll relish the chance to teach me otherwise, I’m sure.”
“Are you sure it’s a lesson you want to learn?”
“Probably not but I look forward to it all the same.”

Worth the Risk is a sexy and entertaining journey. Zara Cox developed a push-pull dynamic between two characters focused on business. Ms. Cox provided interesting surprises and secondary characters in his family. Fans of Kelly Elliott and Stephanie London will enjoy Worth the Risk.

“I like to win at all costs…”

But wanting her could cost him everything.

With a multibillion-dollar deal on the line, billionaire playboy Gideon Mortimer can’t afford another tabloid scandal. He’s committed to a chastity contract, but being on the same yacht as Leonie Branson—temptation personified—is pure, unadulterated torture. Relinquishing control of their thrilling sexual chemistry to tenacious Leonie feels tantalizingly worth the risk—to his reputation and his well-protected heart.

“Dare is Harlequin’s hottest line yet. Every book should come with a free fan. I dare you to try them!” —Tiffany Reisz, international bestselling author
