Check-In: I Need Your Input!

Hi friends!

With summer reading season officially here, I wanted to check in with everyone. 💕

I’ve noticed participation on some of the recent Spotlight posts has been a little quieter, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I was sad to see Rafflecopter shut down. It was such a familiar and easy way for readers to enter giveaways, and I’ve been wondering if the switch to KingSumo has affected how people participate. Your input really matters to me. If KingSumo isn’t working well for everyone, I want to know.
My biggest goal is making sure every blog reader has an easy opportunity to enter giveaways and participate in the fun. If there are issues I’m not aware of, I’d love to hear about them so I can make improvements.

📚 Have you been entering the Spotlight giveaways?
📚 Has KingSumo been working well for you?
📚 Would you prefer a simpler entry method directly on the blog post (not using KingSumo)?

My goal has always been to create a fun space to discover new books, connect with fellow readers, and share great stories.  And while we’re at it, let’s get that Spotlight excitement fired up again! 🔥

I’d love to see more readers discovering new books, sharing recommendations, chatting in the comments, and entering giveaways this summer.

    I have a hard time getting it to work all the time. It’ll take my email and then reload to my email again. Frustrating.

    In my opinion and experience using Kingsumo for giveaways stinks at least for me because I can’t tell if I’m entered plus Kingsumo doesn’t show me the extra chances to enter or anything else for that matter I used to enter most of the giveaways now I can’t because Kingsumo doesn’t work for me and if I may suggest using a form with links for chances to enter that might be easier but as long as you use Kingsumo I probably won’t be entering many for the above reason.

    I do enter the giveaways when I see them. I have trouble leaving comments. I have to refresh multiple times before I see it show up. Sometimes I have trouble using Kingsumo because the link doesn’t show up. Thank you for asking for our input.

    The giveaway method doesn’t keep me from participating. I’m good with the new system. I just don’t have as much time online right now. My husband has a lot of health issues and caring for him is taking most of my time. Hopefully he gets some good news this week and can return to work soon.

    I haven’t had any problems entering the giveaways using king sumo. I would like it if we got credit for following you on instagram because I deleted my twitter account.

    I also have a big problem with Kingsumo. I realized that I can only enter a certain amount of giveaways at a time using Kingsumo before I’m blocked (don’t know why) and I have to wait until some of those giveaways finish before I can enter any Kingsumo giveaways again. It’s the same on any device that I have.

    I like Kingsumo a lot. A lot easier that rafflecopter was.

    I don’t like Kingsumo. It won’t work on my ipad. Just like a previous commenter said it takes my email and goes right back to the login page.

    I enter some of them and King Sumo works some of the time but have difficulty other times.

    I rarely can get Kingsumo to work for me so a simpler entry would be great.

    I think for awhile there were issues getting Kingsumo to work. I’m sometimes bad at checking my emails or coming here and checking out the posts.

    I like KingSumo and find it’s easy to enter–I’ve been using it for years with no issue.

    I try to enter books I really, really want to win rather than every giveaway.

    I appreciate the Spotlight giveaways and enter those that I would love to read. KingSumo hasn’t worked so well for me.

    With the switch, I haven’t been entering as many giveaways.

    NOTE: Starting tomorrow I am going to do giveaways without Kingsumo or other giveaways apps. Hope this helps and I will check in again to make sure the experience is better.

    KingSumo has been working for me, but I would like to see more options such as following by email, BookBub, and Goodreads.

    Kingsumo works for me most of the time. However to x and instagram following doesn’t work properly. I know that I already follow you.

    When the KingSumo giveaways started, they worked about 50% of the time, but I rarely have any issues now.

    It’s a bit late for input, but KingSumo works most of the time for me. Life has been super busy so I haven’t even been able to check email in a timely manner
