I gave both my great-grandsons (a 3 yr old & a 9 yr old) books. And I gave 2 books to our youngest grandson’s girlfriend. I also gave her a couple of journal/doodle books. And to our granddaughter, I gave some journal/doodle books, but she also got a drawing pad as she’s pretty good with drawing and painting.
I didn’t get any books as a gift, but I will buy those I want myself – or check them out of the library.

I gifted all 6 of my grandchildren several books. They are all avid readers. They look forward to new stories. I also gave several books to my 99 yo mom. She inspired my love of books at a very early age.
I also gifted my daughter with a couple of books she was interested in.
I love giving and receiving books. I did receive 2 series that I’m looking forward to reading. My sister also gifted me 1 book I wanted.
