The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott (02/06/24)
When Lilah Goodluck saves the life of Good Witch Willow as they’re crossing a busy LA street, the last thing she expects is five unwanted predictions as a reward. Who gives someone the lotto numbers then tells them they’ve only got a week to live? And who believes in that nonsense anyway? But when the first three predictions come true within twenty-four hours, Lilah’s disbelief turns to mild panic. She’s further horrified when she nearly runs a car off the road that belongs to Alistair Lennox, the illegitimate son of the English king. Alistair is intrigued by her preposterous story, but Lilah is adamant about resisting the heat between her and the playboy prince. If he’s not her soulmate, then the last prediction can’t come true. But as the days count down, they become maybe friends…and then maybe more. Between the relentless paparazzi and his disapproving family, dating a sort-of prince isn’t easy, especially when you have death on your doorstep.

The Emperor and the Endless Palace by Justinian Huang (O3/26/24)
In 4 BCE, playboy administrator Dong Xian catches the eye of Emperor Ai; in 1740, innkeeper He Shican is seduced by strange visitor Huang Jiulang; and at a circuit party in modern day LA, pre-med student River ends up in the arms of aspiring artist Joey. Though seemingly disconnected, the couples are actually living one epic romance constantly repeated across two millennia. Soulmates in a sense, their romances are nevertheless doomed. Rooted in one of the greatest, historically true love stories never told, their curse began with Emperor Ai and his male lover Dong Xian’s obsessive and destructive relationship that led to their deaths and the fall of the Han Dynasty. As their romance reincarnates, the couple begins to remember—and has the opportunity to recover one powerful artifact that might be able to break their tragic cycle.

Maya’s Laws of Love by Alina Khawaja (03/26/24)
Maya Mirza has always been unlucky in love—so unlucky, in fact, that she’s sure she’s cursed. However, it seems like Maya’s luck may finally be turning up when she secures a marriage proposal from Imtiaz Porter. Imtiaz has everything—good family, great job, charming personality; everything, except Maya’s heart. But love can grow after marriage, right? But on the journey to her wedding in Pakistan, a storm strands her flight in Switzerland, and she encounters disaster after disaster. By her side through all her travel tragedies is her seatmate from the plane, a cynical divorce lawyer who somehow makes all the disasters more tolerable…and after spending days traveling across continents with him, Maya realizes she’s finally met the man of her dreams–on the way to her own wedding. What could be unluckier than that?

Jewel Me Twice by Charish Reid (07/23/24)
After a disastrous failed heist with their crew years ago, the group disbands, and Celeste St. Pierre and Magnus Larsson go their seperate ways. An international art thief, Celeste now lives in NYC and owns an antique furniture store in Manhattan. A geology professor, Magnus is still a gentleman thief who works solo. After five years of separation, they meet in the same place at the same safe to steal the same diamond. The tension (and chemistry) is still there and, days later, they receive a mysterious invitation that unites them with their crew to fulfill their mentor’s request to complete one last heist as team. Sharing the same space and schemes again, old feelings resurface but succumbing to them might is a distraction they just can’t afford…

Second Tide’s the Charm by Chandra Blumberg (08/06/2024)
Social-media averse biologist Hope has spent the past three years researching the Great Lakes instead of great white sharks, determined to thrive without her ex-boyfriend and fellow researcher Caleb. But Hope can’t fill the void left by forgoing shark research alongside the man who pushed her away, when all she asked for was space and support. When an old friend invites her to be a temporary research assistant on a shark study in South Carolina, there’s one catch—Caleb is also a member of the crew. Hope joins the project despite the potential angst of working with her ex, certain she can prove to herself she’s unaffected by his presence and get over him once and for all. But upon arrival, she discovers Caleb isn’t just another member of the team; he’s a YouTube star and is fast making a name for himself as the public face of shark conservation. Now, she’ll be spending the entire summer… with her ex… on one little boat. While she is hesitant to pursue a relationship, Caleb still has feelings for her. Doing the work they love, they navigate the possibility of a second chance together.

  1. Latesha B.

They all sound good, but Jewel Me Twice has me wondering why the group disbanded and how they will work together after being apart for so long.

  2. Sonia

I want to read The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott to find out if the predictions were true.

    • Leeza Stetson

They all sound interesting, but I’m particularly drawn to Lilah Goodluck.

  3. Diana Hardt

They all sound good, but Second Tide’s the Charm caught my attention. I like second chances.

  4. Mary Preston

The Twelve Months of Christmas by Sheila Roberts – let’s not settle for 12 days.

  5. Audrey Stewart

Second Tide’s the Charm by Chandra Blumberg and Maya’s Laws of Love by Alina Khawaja. I really don’t believe in second chances, and I would love to read that Maya did find true love.

  6. Brianne Wolman

They actually all caught my eye b/c the premise and locations are different the the ‘normal’ Mira’s seemed the most intereting to this history loving reader – so many locations to explore as she journeys to her destination.

  7. erahime

All of the anticipated books are intriguing in their own right. There’s a good vibe coming from the Kylie Scott book. The soulmate premise from the Justinian Huang book sounds interesting. Finding love at unexpected places is what grabbed my attention from the Alina Khawaja book. The Charish Reid and Chandra Blumberg books had that second-chance romance trope going on. Thus, each book has their own appeal in my eyes.

  8. anxious1959

Christmas in Painted Pony Creek by Linda Lael Miller love her books.

  9. Kathy Partridge

The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott – I love her books!

  10. kaisquared4

The Empire and the Endless Palace sounds intriguing, I love historical stories.

  11. Dana Boersma

Maya’s Laws of Love sounds good. I am intrigued to see what she chooses to do.

  12. Karen Golding

Jewel Me Twice definitely sounds like a fun read, I love heist stories!

  13. Kathleen O

Second Tide’s the Charm because it’s about a second chance at being with the one you love.

  14. Glenda M

They all sound great! The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck sounds like an action packed story. I hope Lilah does have some Good Luck.

  15. Pennie Morgan

They all sound great! Holiday Heartbreaker by Maisey Yates looks especially good, I will pick up anything by this author.

  16. Nancy Jones

They all sound like great reads. The Book Club Hotel would be my first read of the bunch.

  17. Trudy Dowling

Kylie Scott’s book sounds very interesting and so different from her books that I have read before.

  18. Colleen C.

I am not familiar with the authors on the most anticipated list… each book sounds interesting.

  19. Summer

Second Tide’s The Charm stood out most to me, I like the premise of them being on a boat together all summer researching sharks.

  20. Penney Wilfort

So many of my favorite Authors here the one I am so looking forward to is Holiday Heartbreaker by Maisey Yates

  21. Laurie Gommermann

Maya’s Laws Of Love sounds a bit like the premise of a movie I like, French Kiss, with Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline only they meet on a plane. I like instant attraction and how it makes you question who’s the right person for you. Then dealing with all the inherent problems disengaging from the previous relationship without hurting the other person too badly.
Second Tide’s The Charm always like second chance romances especially when neither of them have been able to move on. Nice setting ocean off of South Carolina. Shark research sounds interesting too.
I’ve enjoyed several of the giveaway author’s past books. I love Christmas themed stories!

  22. Joye

They all caught my attention because I have yet to read any of those author’s books. They all sound interesting to me.

  23. Mary C

All sound interesting – The Book Club Hotel if I had to choose one based on the title.

  24. Jen K

Jewel Me Twice … a jewel heist romance, sounds intriguing and different. sign me up!

  25. diannekc

“The Wishing Bridge” by Viola Shipman is on my TBR LIST list and I’m looking forward to reading the book. Love his/her books.

  26. Diane Sallans

Second Tide’s the Charm sounds interesting because it features a biologist – that’s different

  27. Tia

Jewel Me Twice by Charish Reid is what I’m looking forward to. It reminds me of some of the classic movies I’ve seen.

  28. Marsha Graniel

Second Tide’s the Charm by Chandra Blumberg! I love second chance stories and I’m intrigued by the back story of Caleb and Hope.

  29. Bonnie

The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck caught my attention. I would love to find out if Lilah has really met her prince.

  30. dholcomb1

The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott (02/06/24) and Second Tide’s the Charm by Chandra Blumberg (08/06/2024) sound really good.

  33. Terrill R

Maya’s Laws of Love by Alina Khawaja – Marriage of convenience with an unexpected twist. I love MOC, but the twist sounds intriguing.
Jewel Me Twice – I like a heist story.

  34. Amy R

The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott, I really enjoy this authors writing style.

  35. donnadurnell2013

The first one that caught my eye was Jewel Me Twice by Charish Reid. ‘Heist,’ ‘international art thief . . . antique furniture,’ ‘steal the same diamond’ are phrases that pull me in and say “must read!” The other four books also sound interesting, and I would like to read them also.
