In A Deal with Demakis by Tara Pammi, There is nothing Nikos Demakis wants more than the CEO position of his grandfather’s business and the well being of his sister, Venetia. To secure his position as the CEO and to ensure Venetia’s protection, he needs Lexi Nelson’s help. She might resist, she’ll definitely try to negotiate, but Nikos always gets what he wants.

Lexi has never met anyone like Nikos. The power that he exudes is almost overwhelming. Almost. She’s determined to prove that she’s more than a match for him. But as the playing field changes from power to passion, it soon becomes a battle of wills that she’s not sure she wants to win!

A Deal with Demakis by Tara Pammi is a well written and sexy romance. It starts off well and the first few chapters are enjoyable along with a swoon worthy ending. The chemistry between the characters makes the romance super hot and full of passion.

Nikos is an alpha and ruthless hero who is hell bent on getting whatever he wants. He considers emotions a weakness because of something which happened in the past and how his life changed after the said incident. Lexi also had to struggle her way out throughout her life. She is a kind off pushover with everyone in the starting but she has a moment of enlightenment in the story where she suddenly figures out why people treated her so badly. At this moment she takes all the blame on herself which I personally did not care for because it amounted to self pity for me. I liked how she finally loses her low esteem and fights for Nikos towards the end.

This would have been a stellar read for me if Lexi’s ex-boyfriend/best friend, Tyler and Nikos’s sister Venetia were not as heavly involved in the story. I personally do not like much involvement from secondary characters specially in category romance.

Overall, A Deal with Demakis is a well written passionate romance with an amazing chemistry between the characters.
