A Little More Love by Kendra Leigh Castle: Kira is looking to bounce A-Little-More-Loveback in her career as a journalist after learning a hard lesson about mixing business with pleasure. She figures she can kill two birds with one stone by tracking down a famous but reclusive writer in the same small town where her twin brother Seth now lives for her next story. She’s smart, determined, stubborn, and looking forward to reconnecting with Seth.

Fitz enjoys his life just how it is. After a lifetime of what seemed like never fitting in, he’s content to have the town wonder and speculate about what he actually does. He’s not quite ready to reveal that he is the world famous writer, Malcom Roy.

Kira and Fitz have an interesting first meeting. They both experience the same attraction at first sight, and humorously struggle to interact somewhat normally. Things quickly derail when Kira reveals her latest assignment. Fitz is determined to stay far, far away from Kira as she intends to blow his carefully constructed world apart.

A tiny, stubborn line appeared between her brows. One he knew portended trouble.
For God’s sake, just let me be a gentlemen before I can run like hell in the other direction.
“Trust me. They’re steep stairs, and your suitcase weighs about a thousand pounds. Let me help.”
“No really, I’ll-“

Fitz and Kira can’t avoid each other as they are both connected to Seth. Despite the trouble that Kira represents, Fitz can’t quite stay away from her. Kira isn’t looking for a relationship as she has no plans to stay in Harvest Cove, but she’s helplessly drawn to Fitz and his lovable dog. They have great chemistry and a unique relationship.

“You can ask. I just haven’t been sleeping well lately. It’s not you, it’s-”
“I just worry a little, you know? I don’t know why you’re not sleeping, but you looked fine when I met you so I keep thinking I must have-”
“You worry about me?” Fitz asked, cutting smoothly into what she knew would turn into a ramble.
