A Passionate Night with the Greek by Kim Lawrence: Zach is sexy, commanding, and driven. After a rough start, he made himself into quite the business success along with a little help from his mentor. He’s determined to remain alone and never fall in love or have a family. Instead, he prefers to work hard and enjoy casual flings.

Katina dedicates herself to helping others. She’s also had a difficult childhood, but she’s committed to ensuring others have the help and resources they need. She’s loyal, hard-working, and generous. She would love to have a family one day, but she’s a bit wary of men.

To repay a debt, Zach very reluctantly agrees to find Katina and bring her home to meet her grandfather and his mentor. He’s a busy and important man and he has no desire to watch over and help Katina adjust to her new reality of being an heiress. It doesn’t help that he’s very much attracted to her. Katina is shocked and struggles to come to terms with how her life will be changing by meeting her grandfather.

‘Does he think you can buy love? Buy me?’ Her words had an angry, forlorn sound.
‘That is not in my field of expertise.’
‘What is your area of expertise?’
‘Well, it’s not babysitting reluctant heiresses.’

Katina and Zach, despite their similarities in childhoods, have very different outlooks on life. She’s open and sees the good in others while he’s very private and assumes that everyone acts in their own best interests. Kat is surprised by how much she’s attracted to someone so opposite of her, especially as Zach runs hot and cold. Kat is nothing like he expected and he struggles to retain his control around her.

‘I can hear the sea!’
‘Hard to escape it. We are on an island.’
She swivelled around to face him. ‘Well, I have never lived on a private island so I can’t be quite so bored about it as you.’

A Passionate Night with the Greek has passion, meddling, and heart. Kim Lawrence develops a slow burn romance between two very different characters. Ms. Lawrence provides conflict, heat, and great locations. Fans of Sandra Marton and Jules Bennett will enjoy A Passionate Night with the Greek.
