A Proposal Worth Millions by Sophie Pembroke: Sometimes we think that we need to A-Proposal-Worth-Millionskeep pressing on to make sure our past doesn’t reappear in our future. Sometimes we think we need to hang on tightly to our past so it doesn’t disappear from our future. When these two thoughts combine though that is when we can have an issue with what our present needs to be.

Sadie Sullivan, mother, hotelier, and widow. These three things defined who Sadie had become and really only one of the three she loved. She loved her son more than the world itself and because of that she was willing to do whatever she could to save her son’s legacy and her husband’s dream, The Azure. The hotel was in need of help though so when one of her husband’s best friends suggested outside investors there wasn’t a question, until she saw him.

Dylan Jacobs knew his best friends widow must have been at her last end to have called him in for help, that is until he saw her and realized she had no idea. He was there though and he was going to help. He wasn’t like his father, no matter how much he thoughts he was. He wasn’t going to run out on someone he cared about when he could help them. He was determined to help Sadie, his own feelings be d***ed.

Thrown together for a week Dylan and Sadie must figure out how much of their past to hold on to while building a future. Deciding the type of future and who and where is involved might come close to breaking them both though.

Ms. Pembroke takes her readers to Turkey is this novel that is set to give her readers a great visual and sensory experience as they see the area through her words. The plot has enough twists and pulls to keep the reader interested, enough romance to keep the readers heart engaged and enough reality to connect with the characters and make the reader really pull for a happily ever after.

A Proposal Worth Millions by Sophie Pembroke is a fairly quick read with lots of flash backs and some flash forwards. It also shows how holding on to the past in whatever way will change how you see the future. This is a great experience read.
