A Very Merry Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams: Even after a year country music star Coltan Wheeler has not quiet been able to get his one amazing night with Gretchen Winthrop out of his mind, so when she comes looking for him on one of the lowest days in his career Coltan decides to run with this possible second chance. He will give Gretchen’s business proposal a hearing in exchange for her going out with him on three dates. Now all Coltan needs to do is woo the one girl that really mattered to him and what better time than at Christmas?

For immigration lawyer Gretchen Winthrop Christmas time has always seemed a bit excessive, first with most of her clients scrambling to make ends meet and then really not having had any true family Christmas memories of her own. But when her control freak brother offers her a seat on the charity board of their families foundation Gretchen jumps at it… all she has to do is convince Coltan to be the new ambassador for her families Whiskey brand all while trying to resist the intense chemistry that radiates between them.

I absolutely love The Bromance Book Club series and the more I read these books the more I fall in love with these guys! Now don’t get me wrong Vlad will always be my favourite but there was just something about Coltan that I could not get enough of! Add in the fact that this was a Christmas romance and our hero was such a warm sugar pie and I was totally hooked! I must say that I really liked the gender reversal in this grump meets sunshine romance.

Gretchen was not may favourite female character even thought I did warm up to her toward the last few chapters, she was still kind of an annoying female lead. I just found her to take everything way to extreme and she was a bit preachy when it came to money. Not only was she way to serious but she played the scrooge part down to a tee. This girl really did not like Christmas, that is until Coltan helped her find her Christmas spirit. Now once we got a look into her past, well this made me kind of warm up to her and understand her stand off nature. Gosh her family was something else entirely! I just could not stand her brother and that her parents did nothing so support her. As for the uncle Jack story arc well I had hoped for more on this front.

Its safe to say that the star of this book was our country heartthrob Coltan. This guy was the embodiment of warm and fuzzy. I loved that even with all of his fame he really just wanted to make his family happy and make sure they never went without. I just loved getting to see him with his family and the fact that they were so welcoming to Gretchen. One of the things that I really liked about Coltan was his love for Christmas, a hero after my own heart really. I only swooned harder getting to see Coltan trying to share the Christmas spirit with Gretchen.

As alway its a total treat getting to see the book club guys in their full glory helping support each other and using their romance manuals to try and navigate their romantic relationships. One of the best parts of this book was that these guys and their partners formed a family and this was really what Gretchen needed the most. Also I just loved getting to see Vlad playing Santa!

A Very Merry Bromance is a definite must read. This slow burn, second chance Christmas romance will melt your heart, have you swooning, giggling and tearing up as Gretchen and Coltan find their way to happily ever after!

Country music’s golden boy Colton Wheeler felt the most perfect harmony when he was with Gretchen Winthrop. But for her, it was a love him and leave him situation. A year later, Colton is struggling to push his music forward in a new direction. If it weren’t about to be the most magical time of year and the support of the Bromance Book Club, he’d be wallowing in self-pity.

It’s hard for immigration attorney Gretchen not to feel a little Scrooge-ish about the excess of Christmas when her clients are scrambling to afford their rent. So when her estranged, wealthy family reaches out with an offer that will allow her to better serve the community, she’s unable to say no. She just needs to convince Colton to be the new face of her family’s whiskey brand. No big deal…

Colton agrees to consider Gretchen’s offer in exchange for three dates before Christmas. With the help of the Bromance Book Club, Colton throws himself into the task of proving to her there’s a spark between them. But Gretchen and Colton will both need to overcome the ghosts of Christmas past to build a future together.
