A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing a Vampire by Sarah Hawley: Ben Rosewood is happy with the way his life is going, as a forty year old male werewolf he has pretty much got his life down to the way he likes it, navigating his monthly beastly moments and running his thriving plant emporium. Really just living the life, well not the life his family seems to want for him seeing as they keep pushing him to settle down and find love… so you could say life is going along pretty mundane, well that is until Ben drunkenly bids on an ancient crystal and unleashes a moody but beautiful vampire succubus that he is now stuck with. Eleanora Bettencourt-Devereux is truly one of a kind, a vampire succubus hybrid born to an elite medieval bloodline, the only problem is she has been trapped in a crystal from the time that she was thirty by a vengeful witch. After spending centuries wanting to rip out the head of the witch that cursed her, the last thing that Eleanora needs now is to be contending with a werewolf! But just maybe these two might just be able to help each other out, while trying to figure out these rather inconvenient feeling that have started to brew between them…
LOVED!!! I absolutely loved reading this book, in fact this entire series has fast become one of my all time favourite supernatural romcom series to read and recommend. There is just something about going back to Glimmer Falls that always draws me in, truly this place has cast an enchanting spell on me! While this was a slightly odd romance, it just some how worked, I liked the dynamic between Ben and Eleanora regardless of how strange they might have seemed. While this book can be read as a standalone without any context lacking, I would still largely recommend reading the other two books in this series, purely because you will love them!
Both main characters were incredible, so different from each other but boy did they just make an incredible couple. I loved how spunky and fiery Eleanora comes across at the beginning of the book. She has had a good few years to strew in her anger and it is completely understandable why she would have some anger issues, but as the book progresses we get to see her character mellow out and truly embrace her true self. While she still remains a bit wacky and hot tempered, she was an absolutely delight to read. I loved the way she took charge and knew just how to wrap Ben around her little finger when she wanted. As for our hero, well our werewolf Ben was all sugar and cuddles, with little to no bite. This guy was a true cinnamon roll hero, he was soft spoken and such a gentle soul, it was impossible not to love our hero. I will say his anxiety really held him back in a lot of ways but it was nice getting to see him face his fears and step out of his comfort zone with a bit of a push from Eleanora.
Good gosh was this one steamy couple! They had some of the best banter and the spark between them was electric! I love that they started out with so much heat and the zing between them only grew as the book progressed! I will say the biting scenes got pretty steamy. Aside from having incredible chemistry I really enjoyed getting to see them complement each other and ultimately help each other grow. While Ben was the calm that Eleanora needed, she was the push of crazy that he was lacking. While their relationship was more on the slow burn side, I have to say that this worked out in their favour and we got to really see them grow together and truly come to appreciate each other.
I absolutely loved getting to see some of characters that we have come to love from the previous books making cameos and getting to see the Glimmer Falls family grow. A Werewolf’s Guide To Seducing A Vampire is a total must read, this book was just brilliant, there wasn’t a single thing that I did not love about this opposites attract, forced proximity, supernatural romcom. A total Must Read!

Werewolf Ben Rosewood is happy with his life. One hundred percent. Everything is fine. His business, Ben’s Plant Emporium, is thriving, and he’s even expanding the shop. His anxiety disorder is…well, it’s been better, but that comes with the territory of running a business and having beastly urges every full moon, right? As for romance—who has the time? Though his family is desperate to see him settled, Ben is fine approaching forty as a single werewolf. But after drunkenly bidding on and winning a supposedly-possessed crystal on eBay one night, he finds himself face-to-face with a beautiful but angry vampire.
Eleanora Bettencourt-Devereux is a rare breed—a vampire succubus born from two elite European bloodlines during medieval times. But thanks to an evil witch, she’s been stuck in a crystal since she was thirty, forced to obey orders from the possessor of the rock. Eleanora’s been dreaming of breaking the spell and severing the witch’s head for centuries. But did this witch really sell her to someone new, and for only ninety-nine cents?
Eleanora would claw this werewolf’s heart out and eat it, if only the binding spell would allow her to. But Eleanora and Ben soon realize they can help each other with both vengeful and less hostile needs. And why not have a little fun along the way?
