In At the Brazilian’s Command (Hot Brazilian Nights! #2) by Susan Stephens Tiago Santos needs a wife to inherit his grandfather’s ranch. He needs to find a woman who is practical and will understand that this Brazilian stallion won’t be tamed!
Practical, poised Danny Cameron is the perfect candidate. She sees the value of a union that provides investment in her business—with no false promise of the happily-ever-after she doesn’t believe in. But as their wedding approaches, the sensual rhythm of the samba fills Danny with a longing…to experience all that Tiago’s enthralling Latin fire promises to unleash!
At the Brazilian’s Command was a well written romance but was not strictly based on marriage of convenience trope because the characters are deeply involved by the time they get married later in the book.
Danny is a strong heroine and I liked the way she did not give in easily when Tiago broke her trust towards the end. Though I do wish she would have stood up to her own mother more. Tiago is a sexy Brazilian who has a reckless past. His grandfather kind of helped him be a better person and it was refreshing to see a hero who was not living neck deep with issues from his past.
The romance was good, however explosive chemistry between the characters would have made this book extraordinary for me personally. I loved that the characters first get to know each other properly before they get married and have sex.
Overall, At the Brazilian’s Command by Susan Stephens is an enjoyable romance which would be loved by the author’s fans.

Thanks for the review, Ipshita. It is unusual that the characters get to know each other first in a marriage of convenience trope. It sounds like an interesting read for this reason.
