Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox: After growing up in the spotlight, Hunter has found a family in his three best friends from college. He’s driven, sexy, and above all else loyal. He’s enjoying the challenges of being a construction project manager. He’s been happy to play the field until one fateful night.

Lennon grew up in a very strict and religious household, so she was thrilled to make the most of her freedom when she went to college. She’s smart, fiery, warm, and loves to hang out with her sisters. She loves her job as a school music teacher and can’t imagine her life without music.

Hunter and Lennon have quite the tangled history. Two years ago, Hunter saw Lennon and immediately knew she was different. He thought they had a unique connection only to learn that she went home with his best friend and roommate, Brandon, that same night. Hunter never tried to get in the way of their relationship, but it wears on him to live with the now happy and in love couple. He only survives by making Lennon’s life hell by complaining, bringing home one-night stands, and generally getting on her every last nerve. Lennon is confused and frustrated by Hunter’s attitude towards her. His behavior only confirms that Brandon was the right choice for her.

“I don’t understand, Hunter.”
“I know. Just know that I’m sorry, okay? I’m really sorry for how I treated you, and I don’t want us to ever go back to that. I wish I could explain it, but I can’t. Just trust me on this.”
Surprisingly, she doesn’t push further. “Okay.”

Their worlds collapse when Brandon unexpectedly dies in a tragic motorcycle accident. They lean on each other to get through their grief and begin to actually get to know each other. Taking care of and protecting Lennon is a double-edged sword for Hunter. They grow really close and then both are thrown when she discovers she’s pregnant.

“I’m nervous,” I admit with a half-smile.
“Don’t be. I don’t bite.” He winks. “Well, unless you like that sorta thing.”
“Oh my God, Hunter!” I blush hard. “You aren’t helping!”
“Okay, sorry,” he says with a chuckle. “Don’t be scared. We’ll start slow.”

Baby Mine is heartbreaking with tension, conflict, anticipation, and surprises. Kennedy Fox supplies plenty of angst as Hunter and Lennon go from attraction to constant bickering to relying on each other for everything. Kennedy Fox develops the relationships with care and provides a surprise ending that will leave you needing the last book of this duet. Fans of Chanel Cleeton and Meghan Quinn will enjoy Baby Mine.

I saw her first.
Blonde. Gorgeous. Feisty.
I was smitten.

But it didn’t matter because she chose him and he was my best friend and roommate. I’d never be able to compete with that, so I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn’t have to see her every day, but then she moved in with us.
Now, I’m screwed.

To her singing in the shower every morning, dancing in the kitchen while she makes coffee, and doing yoga in our living room, I can’t stop thinking about her in all the wrong ways. She’s not mine and never will be, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to push her against a wall and claim her mouth.

She’s constantly on me for making messes, bringing chicks home every weekend, and being a smartass when their PDA gets on my nerves. Considering neither of them know how I feel, it’s not fair for the way I act toward them. I should move out so I can get over her for good; however, the selfish part of me can’t let go.

And then the unthinkable happens…
When my best friend dies in a motorcycle accident, the two of us are left to grieve our loss together. Instead of pushing her away, I pull her closer.

Just as we come to terms with our new reality, she finds out she’s pregnant with his baby.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life.

**BABY MINE is an angsty, emotional, slow-burn romance wrapped up in a heartbreakingly delicious love story. It’s book 1 in the Hunter & Lennon duet of the Roommate Duet Series and must be read first.**
