In Bought for the Greek’s Revenge by Lynne Graham,Ella Palmer has neither the money nor the connections to warrant the interest of Nikolai Drakos’s archenemy. Yet the unassuming beauty has done just that—and claiming her will be Nikolai’s ultimate satisfaction!
The ruthless tycoon will use any means necessary to ensure Ella’s compliance, so he buys out her family’s debts. Debts he’ll forgive if Ella becomes his mistress. But when he discovers the true extent of her innocence, Nikolai is forced to consider something new; it appears the indomitable Greek is about to take a bride!
Lynne Graham returns to familiar ground and returns to the trope she is best known, for her 100th book.
Ella and Nikolai have a great connection from the start and they both hold their own throughout the story. They both were equally strong and suited each other well. There is good tension and buildup in the romance but it did not have enough angst on the whole. There is considerable amount of drama because of a negative character, so I was entertained by that.
Overall, an enjoyable romance which would be undoubtedly loved by Lynne Graham’s fans but personally for me due to my high expectations with this one, I’ still prefer her older books to this one.
On a side note, Congrats Lynne Graham for your 100th book! Keep writing!!
