18812472If Lucy is pregnant with a boy then Tony stands to inherit a fortune. Plus, the real payoff is having Lucy back where she belongs—with him. But when she finds out about his inheritance, will she feel like a pawn and run again?

This book is the third part of The Caroselli Inheritance series by Michelle Celmer and can be read as a standalone.

Caroselli’s Accidental Heir by Michelle Celmer is a well written romance combining the second chance romance and accidental pregnancy trope. The flow is smooth and the conflicts are not that great but they are distributed over the whole story in small amounts. I was surprised to find the love declaration much before the ending actually happened and was expecting a major conflict which did came towards the end but it was resolved quickly and without much drama. The Italian family backdrop worked quite well and they too had their own storyline in the story. I loved that the romance was just not the focus of the story and there were other spheres to focus on.

Tony was a likable hero because he cared and loved Lucy early on. The characters had a history and therefore their fast forward romance was believable. He was trying to break free of the family business and finally managed to do so in the end. Lucy had a tough childhood and unlike Tony who had grown up in a crazy yet adorable family, she had to face most of the things in her life alone.

Overall, Caroselli’s accidental heir by Michelle Celmer is a well written fast paced romance.

Stop the wedding—she’s pregnant!

When Lucy Bates caught herself falling too hard for Chicago businessman Tony Caroselli, she ran. How could she measure up to his wealthy family’s standards? But now she’s pregnant and back to tell the truth…only to see Tony marrying another woman before her very eyes!

Lucy always had impeccable timing—especially interrupting a wedding Tony never wanted. And if she produces a male heir, Tony stands to inherit a fortune. Plus, the real payoff is having Lucy back where she belongs—with him. But when she finds out about his inheritance, will she feel like a pawn and run again?

I haven’t read the other books in this series so I’m glad to hear this book stands alone. Thanks for the review, Ipshita.
