Carrying the Sheikh’s Heir (Heirs To The Throne Of Kyr #2) by Lynn Raye Harris is the second book in the Heirs To The Throne Of Kyr series and can be easily read as a standalone.

CTSHParty planner Sheridan Sloane agrees to be the surrogate mother for her sister but an IVF clinic mix up means she is now carrying the the heir of Rashid al-Hassan, the desert king of Kyr!

When Rashid comes to know of the mix up, he tracks down the mother to be and demands marriage but when Sheriden refuses to cooperate, he ends up kidnapping her by taking her to Kyr.

Swept away to the desert sands, Sheridan desires escape. But when Rashid takes her to his bed, she soon craves something else entirely…. Can she thaw this proud sheikh’s heart, or will she have to love enough for two?

Carrying the Sheikh’s Heir is a well written romance with an IVF mix-up and kidnapping trope. This book is more suited for the die hard romantics, the whole IVF mix up and the way Rashid kidnaps Sheriden situations are somewhat unusual and might be frustrating if you try to decipher them. This is fiction afterall all and reality is best left checked at the door.

Sheriden is a nice, sweet and strong person who is willing to do anything for the people she really cares about. Rashid is arrogant, mean and distant but there was a reason for his being so emotionless. The story follows a good pace and the romance was emotional as well as passionate.

Overall, Carrying the Sheikh’s Heir by Lynn Raye Harris is a well written romance for all the die hard romantics who love a good “Sheikh” romance.
