Castelli’s Virgin Widow by Caitlin Crews is the follow up book to Castellis-Virgin-WidowUnwrapping The Castelli Secret by Caitlin Crews. This book is about the younger brother Luca and the previous one before this was about the elder brother Rafael.

Luca Castelli thinks he knows everything about his late father’s widow, Kathryn. He won’t be fooled by the tabloids’ adoration—to his mind, this young, achingly beautiful woman is no saint! So when terms of the will force Luca to become Kathryn’s boss, he resolves to push her to her very limits…

But as Kathryn rises to his challenge, the fire between them that burns with equal parts hatred and lust only grows hotter! Until one night, Luca discovers Kathryn’s innocence runs deeper than he could ever have imagined… She belongs to him, and him alone!

Castelli’s Virgin Widow by Caitlin Crews was a well written romance which starts off with a good pace and continues a good run till the end. The romance was passionate, the anticipation was well drawn out, their was a good infusion of angst and had a good intensity.

Luca is an alpha hero who is constantly rude to Kathryn. He had a difficult childhood emotionally due to his father’s neglect and the only person he trusts is his elder brother. At first I understood his constant hate towards Kathryn but it grew tiring after a while. He needed to grovel a little more after he realized he loved her.

Kathryn is a strong heroine who does stand up-to Luca and refuses to take things lying down. She too had been a lot due a vexing and dominating mother.

Overall,Castelli’s Virgin Widow by Caitlin Crews is an enjoyable romance which kept me hooked till the end.
