Christmas in Da Conti’s bed combines the Christmas spirit with seduction, prejudices and loads of steamy moments.
Niccolo is an alpha hero who is really very rude to the heroine, Alannah when the story starts. His resentment is due to her checkered past and his inability to fight his attraction to her. He is charismatic later in the story and it takes him time to let go of whatever misconceptions he has regarding the heroine. Alannah is an insecure heroine who is trying to find some amount of stability in her life and be more than just a scandalous past. The romance is steamy and has good dialogues in between the characters (expect the starting chapters).
Overall, Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed by Sharon Kendrick is a well written romance which makes for a nice and enjoyable Christmas read.
