Cluelessly Yours Max Monroe: As a single mother of two wild and lively young boys, with a deadbeat ex husband and more stress than she can handle the very last thing that Sammy Baker should be thinking about is getting herself involved in is a relationship and truly this is the furthest thing from her mind, however it would seem that fate and her meddlesome sister Brooke have other plans for Sammy. If having to balance her two kids and work were not a challenge enough, now Sammy finds herself smack bang in the centre of a love triangle! The question is who is the right guy for her; Noah the sweet and charming doctor who loves her boys or the fancy smooth talking businessman Gavin? One thing is for sure whichever way fate takes Sammy mayhem is sure to follow, the real question now is which man can handle all that is Sammy Baker?

I love reading Max Monroe books, not only do these two ladies always produce incredibly brilliant books but there characters are always so loveable, and this is most definitely the case in Cluelessly Yours. The love triangle trope can be very hit or miss for me but in this book it worked out perfectly. I will admit there was a tiny moment that had me worrying that Sammy would chose the wrong guy but in true Max Monroe fashion things take a swift turn. I will say this book did feel slightly different to their other books but personally I did not mind it at all.

Gosh the prologue did not do us any favours! To be honest I was a bit confused for a moment, who is the guy, is it the ex husband, will Sammy get a happily ever after, really what was going on! Things did get better though, and our girl Sammy finally figures her way back to love. I will say that the prologue had me expecting that there would be some sort of drama related to the ex husband but thankfully this was not the case at all. There is a very WTF moment toward the end of the book and in true Max Monroe style they have us freaking out a bit but it all works out in the end!

Sammy was a great leading lady, not only was she easy to love but she was also really relatable. I love getting to see her try to find her feet in the dating world again and really take a moment to be a woman instead of only being a mother. I totally understood her reluctance in wanting to bring another person into her boys lives and being cautious about put her heart on the line again but really girl Noah was right there all along waiting for you to see him. Nevertheless it all works out in the end. I absolutely loved our hero, and that really and truly was what Dr Noah Philips was. Gosh this guy was so incredibly dreamy. There was not a moment that I did not love him and want him to woo Sammy over. He was kind, caring and absolutely loved Seth and Grant. Also really who wouldn’t swoon at a hot doctor? Aside from being really good with the kids, Noah never rushed or pushed Sammy to do anything that she was not ready or comfortable with. I loved that he was ready to take all the time that she needed to grow comfortable and take things at her pace. The chemistry between Noah and Sammy was playful perfection. They had a good amount of steam but their chemistry leaned more towards the fun and playful arena. Now a bit about the love triangle, well thankfully that was short lived and Gavin gets the boot pretty fast. Lets just say the guy was a total tool and I’m glad he did not have a huge role.

The supporting characters in this book were a lot, in a good way. I loved getting to see Brooke and Chase again and seeing how their relationship has grown. Gosh was Brooke a treat in all her pregnant glory. As for Seth and Grant, well these two boys were a handful and added so much of laughter to the book. My heart just melted at the part where Noah gave Grant Sal the Sloth, this was just one of the cutest moments in the book. Also we have to take a moment to mention Dolly and Benji, these two pups were just to cute. I’m a total sucker for animals in books and these two pooches just stole my heart.

Cluelessly Yours is a total must read! I loved every single moment of this single mother, hero falls first, mini love triangle romcom. I would suggest reading Brooke and Chase’s book, Accidental Attachment, first to fully appreciate this book but this can still be read as a standalone. Also if my spidey sense are right I think Max Monroe have already given us a hint as to who their next leading lady will be, fingers crossed that Kendall gets her second chance at love soon!

The bad news? Getting hit by a cab can officially get crossed off my bucket list.

The worse news? While I’ve woken up from my coma, the man I’m in love with hasn’t stirred from his.

And the most terrible news of all? A pregnant woman is at his bedside, holding his hand, and saying that he’s the father of her baby.

Sammy Baker is a divorced, single mom trying to find her way again. With two boys and an absent ex-husband, she’s got the world on her shoulders and Legos under her feet.

Amid the chaos lives the dream of, one day, finding love again.

Though, she didn’t think that would land her smack-dab in the middle of two men.

Will Sammy choose the successful businessman who doesn’t hesitate to tell her he’s interested? Or will she go for the eligible bachelor doctor with a constant influx of women vying for his attention?

The smart choice and what the heart wants are two different things. And sometimes, fate has a way of making it so the choice isn’t ours at all.

Thanks for this informative review, Team HJ! The glimpse of this book that I read somewhere else was a bit of a mystery and I’m glad said mystery was lifted a bit here.
