Cowgirls Don’t Cry by Silver James: Chance Barron is the family lawyer and he wants to make his father proud of him, which is why he does his father’s bidding. When Chance’s flight is cancelled due to the weather, he runs into Cassidy and can’t quite get her out of his mind. He returns home only to find out that his father is hell bent on ruining Cassidy…and that Chance is responsible for making it happen.

Cassidy hasn’t been home in a while, but is forced to return when her father dies. She plans to sell the ranch, but she finds there are a number of roadblocks to settling her father’s debts.
