Nothing ventured, nothing gained…

Alex Jenkins has everything he wants. Almost. Once a competitive teenage motorcycle racer, he’s now grown up and aiming to take over his family’s corporation. He just needs to prove to his grandmother – the steely, foul-mouthed matriarch of the Jenkins clan – that he’s the right man for the job.

So what’s a fake engagement to a gorgeous brunette intern? Everything, apparently, because Alex can’t get her out of his head…

Evie Cooper needs money to help put her sister through college and to pay off her mountain of student loan debt. When Alex makes his proposal, she drives a hard bargain. She’s never been in love, never been touched by a man, and isn’t about to fall for this arrogant older businessman.
