REVIEW: Criminal Alliance by Angi Morgan

Criminal Alliance by Angi Morgan is the fourth and final book in her Texas Brothers of Company B series. Quite a bangup ending it is too! There’s tons of action and suspense to keep readers turning the pages.

She’s been undercover for the FBI and Homeland Security for three very long years. Spending so much time with creepy, evil Rusdan Rival has been tortuous. But it so important to get the information to stop an algorithm threatening Dallas that she has persevered. Now she is being followed by two of Rival’s goons and she has a very bad feeling about that. It’s all Texas Ranger Wade Hamilton’s fault. He has been trolling bars for the last few weeks asking about her. He may have put her in danger and risked outing her by trying to find her. Time to confront him and get him to stop his inquiries.

Therese Ortiz has had a crush on Wade Hamilton since she was a teenager. He doesn’t remember her from back then though. His actions inspired her to attend the police academy, the police academy where she was recruited by the FBI for undercover work. She has to pull this op off sucessfully. Lives depend on it.

Ever since Therese Ortiz saved him from Rusdan Rival’s goons Texas Ranger Wade Hamilton has been searching for her. He is very attracted to her and that is a distraction. He has been hitting dive bars inquiring about her but has had no luck until now. He is sitting on his usual bar stool in an old haunt when Therese walks in. Then two guys who don’t fit in walk in after her. Wade knows the regulars here. These two guys are trouble and it looks like they are trouble for Therese. Once he gets her out of this bar safely they are going to have a serious talk. And so it begins…

I really liked the hero Wade Hamilton and heroine Therese Ortiz. They are both such strong, determined and dedicated characters. They work well together. I also liked seeing the guys from the previous books and how they are always there as backup. The epilogue is a romance reader’s dream ending. Bravo Angi Morgan!
